We are working with a company founded out of Berkley University, who are working on a new radar technology to compete with Lidar and other similar technologies. They are working on technology that fuses data streams from multiple sensors to build a more accurate scene and utilises machine learning to predict likely environmental scenarios and provide situational awareness. All of this works in an embedded AI processor with tight latency and performance guarantees to deliver reliable sensing and perception. By working with a satellite architecture they are able to provide industry beating processing power.
You will join to lead the work on complex embedded engineering challenges to help improve the performance of the system overall and help develop new features. This role is based in the Allgau region and would require frequent travel to the office with some flexibility on working from home. The role will be a mixture of hands on embedded engineering challenges along with architectural and system design challenges.
