We’ve partnered with a leader in the sustainability industry that helps businesses transition to a sustainable, carbon-free future. Typically, you’d see their clients on the FTSE500, but as sustainability has moved into forefront of public discourse (and CSR policy), they’re building a new platform for SMEs to make the transition too.
As such, we’re on the hunt for a Lead Golang Engineer to join the remote team on this greenfield project.
Expect to lead a small team of experienced engineers throughout the project from a technical perspective. You’ll be hands-on with the design, architecture and implementation of a microservice backend for a new web app. A ‘start-up mentality’ is a prerequisite since your impact will grow wider than “just” backend; for instance, diving into the frontend every now and then.
The organizational culture is what you’d expect from a ‘unicorn’ tech scale-up: engineering-driven, low levels of bureaucracy and the freedom to take an idea and run with it.
You’ll work remotely in an experienced team, although there is a base in Amsterdam if going into the office is your thing (Friday drinks seem to b quite popular…)
