About the role

This role focuses on building scalable, high-quality software solutions for advanced robotics and automation platforms. You’ll work on complex problems at the intersection of AI, robotics, and software engineering, contributing to systems responsible for real-time control, monitoring, and analytics of robots and connected devices.

You’ll be involved across the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through to deployment and optimisation. The role offers scope to contribute to architectural decisions, shape technical direction, and continuously improve system efficiency and reliability, with the ultimate goal of enabling seamless interaction with intelligent robotic systems in real-world industrial environments.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally across the full development lifecycle
  • Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with strong software design and coding skills
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerisation
  • Knowledge of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build scalable, reliable systems
  • Clear communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset toward learning, continuous improvement, and tackling complex challenges
