We’re working with Amsterdam’s latest fintech unicorn who are looking for Senior Backend Engineers as they build their Amsterdam engineering hub. What started as an idea whilst their founder was having trouble transferring money from Singapore to Australia is now one of the worlds leading fintech businesses. They now offer pay in, pay out, and banking as a service, and operate in 35 markets globally.
Their flagship product is a B2B travel product that allows companies to reduce costs with Booking.com being one of their biggest clients. This is what the engineering team in Amsterdam will be working on.
The company went through Series D funding and raised 200 million and were valued at 3.2 billion. Since then they have doubled their revenue year on year and are on course to do so again.
You’ll be working on the company’s flagship product as they look to break up a monolith and carry out a re-platforming and lift and shift from on-premise to AWS. You can expect huge scalability challenges and to help the system handle more and more integrations. As one of the first Senior Engineers in Amsterdam you will be responsible for solving problems E2E and will have full ownership over what you build. If you can take an unclear problem and come up with an actionable solution then this is a role for you.
