Orange Quarter are hiring for Engineer with 3-5 years experience to join a VC managing 2 billion in assets, who’ve seen 30 companies sold and 5 reach IPO. You’ll be responsible for building a platform used to make integral decision on where the VC invest next. The VC see data as the future and as part of the role you’ll leave no stone unturned as you use web-scraping tools to unearth key data points to combine with AI and ML and make decision on whether the business should invest or not.

What to expect:

You’ll be joining a close knit team of developers who are seeking a Python Engineer that is no stranger to fast paced, agile and unstructured environments. The ideal candidate will have experience as a data engineer or data scientist, with a deep understanding of developing ETL pipelines. If you love the working in a start up but want the security of a much larger organisation then this position is perfect for you. This role is hybrid and the business has offices in London and Berlin.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a data- or backend oriented software engineering position
  • You are proficient in SQL
  • You are proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Python
