The platform operates at a very large scale, with the company’s most recent evaluation at €16 billion; they have 2500 microservices and over 2 million daily requests. They need to build up a team of self-starters and product-minded engineers who are ok working on a variety of projects that will come up as the company enters a hyper-growth stage in Germany. Any experience with market knowledge, product lifecycle, and team development will be an asset for you as a candidate for this role.

What to expect:

As the company continues to grow in the German market, the developer projects will vary between leading localization tasks, image processing protocol, and logistics management. As a Lead, you will need to be comfortable mentoring developers and getting the team on the same page as well as giving input on larger architectural and product questions. As a developer, you will need to have an expert-level understanding of JavaScript as well as feel confident in TypeScript, CI/CD processes, REST / stateless API design, and cypress automation.
