We’ve partnered up with a scaling fintech company, who are looking to expand their established product in the Netherlands, to other countries across Europe.
Their platform is an all-in-one solution for SMEs and entrepreneurs to manage their finances. From being able to scan receipts/invoices & paying directly from your accounting or ERP solution, to even generating sales quotes and overseeing your transactions through the relevant bank account.
They also provide embedded solutions for some of the biggest banks in the Netherlands, offering SME’s the option to go through the bank’s financing & lending options without having to leave their app!

As they’re looking to scale their solution to other countries, they need to make sure the software is up to handling the extra load. They’re looking to rebuild the Node BE into a distributed micro-services setup, where you’ll be future proofing their software. You’ll be involved in improving their AWS infrastructure too, so they’re looking for that end-to-end mindset – you build it, you own it.
Every engineer has a say in how the architecture is built; there’s no strict hierarchy within the team, and they move quickly depending on where the engineers decide to take the product. You’ll be working with other seniors to do the heavy lifting of this transition.
