We are working with a bleeding edge quantum computing company who are looking to build the worlds first one million qubit quantum computer! They have recently secured €80 million in government funding to finance this project over the next four years, so they have plenty of runway. They are looking for someone who has experience working with either Python, Go, Rust or C++ and has worked in a cloud native environment. You will be the initial engineer on the project before they move on to expand the team by around 10 before the end of the year.
You will be joining this company at a pivotal point in the development of this new product. It is important for this role that you have experience liaising with multiple stakeholders. In this case you will be working with electrical engineers, hardware engineers, very senior physicists and Government agencies. The role can be remote in Germany however some occasional travel to Hamburg would be required. As you will be dealing with some German government agencies, this job requires C1 German. You can expect to be at the forefront of the next evolution in computing.
