We are working with a B2C tech scale-up business here in Amsterdam in the EdTech space that has skyrocketed with growth over the past three years. The product allows university students to share study resources and allows for a collaborative way of studying and learning.

What to expect:

The business is looking Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the design of the mobile app end-to-end. The focus has largely been on the desktop web version, but they have a mobile app and with an increase in usage on this, they are looking for someone to come and take full ownership of the design. This role comes with a lot of autonomy and freedom to increase usage and overall improve the user’s experience on the mobile app. They have a dedicated UX Researcher whom you would collaborate with but may be required to plan and conduct your own research also. You will also be collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, as well as and guide and mentor junior designers in the team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Product Design experience, with a large amount of this experience being focussed on mobile apps
  • Experience across the entire end-to-end design process
  • Experience with hands-on user research
  • A data-driven design approach
