Orange Quarter is partnered with a Consultancy based in Berlin, Babelsburg. They operate on a hybrid basis – 4 days from home & 1 day from their office They were initially founded by PhD Physics graduates who specialised in projects for major Enterprises in the Energy & Automotive industry – this then spanned into the idea of building a profitable consultancy that works on web app development and platform development projects. They have a team of 35, which includes 25 Developers. Engineering is the core focus of this consultancy. They have partnered with a company to develop a Big Data Platform for Traffic monitoring.

You will be onboarded either on a Freelance or Permanent basis to begin developing this platform from July 1st. They are looking for someone who has good experience working with Python on the backend but also have experience working with Data Streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis or Flink. This is also a German speaking position that would require B2 German.
