Here at Orange Quarter, we are exclusively partnered with a cloud-based SaaS platform solution product. Essentially, they are a Sales platform and payment processing all in one product, where business owners can create, manage and scale their digital businesses, to build their customer experience. They have seen over 4m orders in 2022, and have 9m buyers in total. You will be joining the Platform team, who are currently internationalising and scaling the product, so expect to be working on interesting tech challenges from the start!

What to expect:

  • Scaling the product on an international scale, using Ruby-on-Rails & increase traffic!
  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality Ruby code using best practices.
  • Work on technical feasibility assessments, developing new solutions, architecture, and process improvements.
  • Build back-end components for web applications.
  • Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions.
  • Test applications for performance, responsiveness, and security.

Requirements:

  • At least 4+ years of commercial experience with Ruby-on-Rails
  • Experience with architecture decisions and development process improvements
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Understanding solutioning, monitoring solutions for specific problems, & understand how to evaluate the solution
