We are currently working with one of Berlin’s best known EdTech businesses. Founded in 2008, their goal is to improve math learning and teaching in schools worldwide. They offer an adaptive learning platform for highly interactive math books which enable students to learn from their mistakes. They have over 100 interactive maths books covering primary and secondary level and more than 100,000 questions with explanations with help available for every exercise step. They are active across 10 countries, and has been used by millions of children to further their mathematics education. Its a product with a real social impact!
While the company is small at nearly 100 employees, they are stable and have had profitable years for the last three.
You will be part of a cross-functional, fully-empowered, self-organized team. They strongly believe in agile principles, value fast learning cycles, and trust in continuous improvement. They are also expecting the same mindset from you. You will join a team that highly values software craftmanship, devops principles and domain driven design. Expect a mature working environment characterised by trust, where learning and development is also a huge priority and you’ll be given the space and support to improve your skills. They’re very flexible on working hours and remote flexibility, but they’d like you to still want to meet your colleagues face to face for important team meetings.
