You would join the team responsible for maintaining and developing the systems that help collect data at scale for its intelligence products. You will play a key role in exploring opportunities for market data driven innovations.

What to expect:

In this role as a Senior Software Engineer, you will be tasked with maintaining and improving the systems that collect data at scale for the business’ intelligence products. You will be responsible for managing a wide variety of data sources, dealing with terabytes of data on a daily basis, and will play a key role in exploring opportunities for market data driven innovations.

You will collaborate with a global team of data scientists, product managers and other backend engineers to make amazing products. This will involve understanding end-to-end product delivery, along with making it scaleable, and designing new improvements and features for the products and systems.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working on AWS (ECS & Kinesis would be especially relevant)
  • Plus if you have worked with Apache Storm or Apache Kafka
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with containerization using tooling like Docker
