Staff/Senior Golang Cloud Engineer

Staff/Senior Golang Cloud Engineer

Remote, permanent

An Amsterdam-based scale-up is building an observability platform that adds context to data and logs, creating information and easier troubleshooting. Orange Quarter have partnered with them to headhunt a Staff/Senior Engineer to join the team of expert engineers, with a clear path to CTO (for proven Staff-level candidates, if desired).

Industry:

OQ-industries Platform-as-a-service

What to expect:

The product is a technical one, built for the cloud, so you should expect your hands-on work to reflect this; for example diving into the guts of the network stack. The environment is flat and collaborative, with everyone having a platform to bring ideas to the table and convince the team about their solution.

The platform is built with Go and C for Kubernetes. It’s essential then that you have strong experience with Kubernetes and know it’s inner workings.

As a Senior Engineer, it’s a very hands-on role. Staff-level candidates will also have an outward facing function.

It’s a remote-first company, hiring across Europe but the preference is within the Netherlands (they do have a base in NL, which they visit regularly… to drink coffee and beer together… but its not mandatory).
