Orange Quarter have partnered up with an exciting scale-up who provide a one-stop shop to help homes become more sustainable. Their platform covers the entire journey from beginning to end; as a homeowner, you can look at your options, request quotes on different products (e.g. solar panels, insulation, etc.), speak directly with the businesses and they’ll even help you through the installation & aftercare process as well.
They’ve also partnered up with banks and local municipalities to help with turning whole neighbourhoods green.
They’re now looking to scale their software to new avenues, and need a Tech Lead to support and mentor the engineers as the lynchpin between development, product & operations.
You’ll be the person between the dev team and the Head of Product, supporting him on the day to day running of the team. You’ll help allocate the tasks/tickets, guide the team of engineers on best practices, and help with setting up the infrastructure too.
There’s room to really make the codebase yours, and the business emphasise giving engineers the space to have an impact on the larger product & vision. You’ll be interacting with internal stakeholders to ensure the business requirements match the dev team’s goals/timelines. There’s also room for you to help the more junior engineers on their careers, and how to navigate a scaling business.
