We have partnered with an exciting SaaS company in Amsterdam that developed a market leading platform for job seekers! Their tools enable users to create professional CV’s and cover letters, and sends alerts when relevant openings are available.

They have a large share of the global market already, and are planning to further penetrate the European market in the next year by professionalising their product and expanding the services they provide!

To realise these plans they are now looking to hire a Tech Lead to work with their lean engineering team of 4 people including their CTO, who still is a hands-on contributor to the codebase.

What to expect:

As a Tech Lead, you are expected to lead a team of 1 Senior Fullstack, 1 Medior Frontend and 1 Junior Cloud Engineer. A lot of your time will be spent developing in Node.js and AWS, and a good understanding of React would be very helpful. Along with the CEO and CTO you will be working on refinement, and you will play a big role in decision making on the roadmap and the tech that will be used.

It would be great if you’re interested in AI as the team is looking into incorporating more AI in their systems (think cover letter assistance), but professional experience with this is not a must.

Besides the technical leadership, you are also the person that monitors the team’s progress on the sprint and you make sure everyone works efficiently towards shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience developing scalable solutions in Node.js, React.js and AWS

  • Available to be in the office in Amsterdam 3 times per week
